Tuesday 26th October, 10am to 12pm
Thursday 28th October, 10am to 12pm
This is a bespoke course for families of maximum 6 riders per family.
1 family per instructor.
The course is not suitable for complete beginners. All riders must be able to cycle independently. Complete beginners will not be accepted on the Family Cycle Training course and should book on our 1:1 cycle training sessions to learn how to ride first.
The course is focused on your family’s needs and expectations. At the beginning of the course, you will discuss with your instructor what you are looking to achieve during the course.
Day 1:
- In the park
- Your instructor will teach a light version of the bikeability silabus: control skills & how to snake together in the park, preparing you to cycle safely on quiet roads on day 2 as a group.
Day 2 & Day 3: You have a few options, depending on your level:
- Cycle rides to discover new parks and quiet roads
- Light cycle training to progress the whole family to a level 2, giving you the skills needed to cycle on-road safely at the end of the course.
- Practicing routes from home to school and back
Health and Safety:
We ask riders to confirm that they and people they live with have been symptom free for 14 days. Additionally when confirming the booking please let us know if you are in a vulnerable group.
