Chrisp Street Family Cycle Training
Free Family cycle training sessions in Chrisp Street,
Tower Hamlets
We’ve teamed up with Poplar Harca and Tower Hamlets Council to deliver free Family Cycling sessions from Chrisp Street hub.
Chrisp Street Community Cycles is open to the whole community (the clue is in the title!). We’ve created this friendly, inclusive space to make cycling accessible so more people can enjoy getting around by bike. We run activities for children, families, and adults and for a whole range of abilities. This includes ‘Learn to Ride’ for complete beginners, skill sessions, and social rides for those with more experience. We have a range of bikes and accessories from balance bikes for little ones, children’s bikes, and adult bikes in a range of sizes.
Our fully trained instructors follow the nationally recognised Bikeability syllabus, starting with an off-road assessment of skills for all participants and then building from there. We can also offer support planning and riding a route to work or school, if that is your cycling aim.
The sessions are free on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you’re not ready to join us for a session yet, we’d still love you to pop by and have a chat. We’re happy to answer any questions or give you some advice.
Come down and give cycling a go!
