Introducing Nikki, our previous Project Manager of our Cycle Taxi pilot programme which took place between February 2021 and June 2022. What’s the best bit about being a taxi pilot?
Seeing the joy that it brings people participating but also how this happiness spreads to people we pass by on the road, it is a very special cycle. I love introducing people to the cycle who are quite nervous and over time seeing them become more confident and relaxed as they get used to riding it.

Have you always cycled? 
I came back to cycling as an adult and now cycle every day to move around London and enjoy the countryside but also to take part in ultra-endurance races.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
As well as being a cycling instructor I’m also a Forest School Leader. I’m on the committee for my club Brixton Cycles, but I also enjoy climbing and outdoor adventures.
