Our bespoke courses, designed by our expert tutors, will teach you everything you need to know for riding safely and with confidence.

Using our years of expertise and sector knowledge, we will provide you with the practical training you need to ride on-road and off-road, navigating the practical issues you will typically experience when riding a cargo cycle.
We train hundreds of people every year, including food distributors, the construction industry and healthcare sector.
Cargo cycles can also be hired for the training at an additional charge.

What is the Bikeworks cargo cycle training course?
Suitable for: Individuals, Groups, Local Authorities, and Businesses, introduction session
Location: At either our East or West Training Hub, or your place of business
Duration: 3 hours
Capacity: Up to 3 people
Instructors: 1
Outcomes: Certificate of Completion
Bikeworks have a range of cargo cycles that we can hire for the training. There will be an additional charge for hire and transport.
Suitable for: Individuals, Groups, Local Authorities, and Businesses, looking to progress on-road skills.
Location: At either our East or West Training Hub, or your place of business
Duration: 7 hours
Capacity: Up to 3 people
Instructors: 1
Outcomes: A National Standard Cycling Level 3 certificate, on successful completion.

Case Study: Lewisham Council and Lewisham Homes
Lewisham Council and Lewisham Homes received cargo cycle training to support the safe usage of their brand-new cargo cycle as part of Cross River Partnership’s Clean Air Villages 4 project. Participants came away really excited about their new skills, having learnt about pedalling, turning, and using the electric assist. Everyone finished the day by going out on the roads, showing off their new confidence.
