E-scooters

E-scooters offer a brilliant opportunity to travel. Bikeworks has developed an e-scooter riding national standard and training materials. We deliver CPD courses for instructors and organisations, and are experienced in the delivery of off-road and on-road skills sessions for different abilities to improve e-scooter skills.

We offer e-scooter consultancy services and can support your organisation with developing materials, training & public engagement. Get in touch if you’d like to discuss working with us.

E-scooter training

We have partnered with e-scooter companies Lime, Dott and Voi to run e-scooter skills training sessions throughout London and the UK.

These “introduction to e-scooters” training sessions are designed for those new to using an e-scooter and are a fun way to learn how to ride with confidence. The sessions will focus on ‘off-road skills’, so you can develop key skills such as how to unlock your scooter and start a journey, balancing and steering, signalling and hazard awareness and avoidance. Once you have mastered the basics, there will be an opportunity to take the road with an instructor.

The session is free and will last up to 2 hours.

  • You must be 18 or over and hold a provisional or full driving licence to take part.
  • Spaces for this training are limited. Please endeavour to attend and avoid last-minute cancellations.
  • E-scooters are provided free of charge for the purpose of the training sessions. It is recommended that you wear a helmet whilst riding e-scooters and we will provide one free of charge.
  • Please make sure you have read the E-Scooter Terms and Conditions before booking your place.
