Drop in for a free Dr Bike check at one of our sessions!
Our mechanics will conduct a health check on your cycle and make minor adjustments to get your bike running at its best. We’ll let you know if there is anything that can’t be fixed on site, and give you advice on what needs doing and how much it should cost at a repair shop. There is no need to book, just turn up in good time and queue.
Keeping your bike well maintained is important for cycle safety and to make sure you enjoy your ride.
You don’t need to be a trained mechanic to keep your bike in good working order, keeping your tyres pumped up, regularly checking the brakes, and making sure the wheels and handlebars are firmly secured are all key checks you can do at home. But if your bike has been a bit neglected in recent years, or if you’re worried something’s not working quite right, Bikeworks can help you get back on the road.
